I could not write everything about their history and art, but I will summarize one of the most impressive monuments of the Christian spain and unique architecture.
It is one of the most important sanctuaries of Spain and constitutes a veritable hotbed of Marian spirituality for the whole Christian world. On October 12, 1928 the Virgin of Guadeloupe was proclaimed Queen of Hispanidad.
Always enjoyed the favour of the kings who visited very often.
Built in 1340 by King Alfonso XI after defeating the Arabs in the Battle of Salado. What ceded to the Order of the Hieronymites and began the pilgrimage. Since 1908 the Order of St. Francis is responsible for its maintenance.
Its architecture dominates the Mudejar style elements with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. It is a mixture of temple fortress and strength.

saluti
