Photographer's Note

An upward sloping street in the town of Trujillo.
Since flying from Toulouse to Portugal is very expensive, we flew to Madrid via easyjet (less than 50 EUR return when reserved ontime) and we rented a car there. We arrived at 9 30 PM and then drove a bit over three hours.

The town of Trujillo de Extremadura is on the way to Portugal in a harsh and dry region. This was the town of some notable conquistadors such as Francisco Pisarro (conquistador of my homecountry Peru) and Orellana (discoverer of the amazon). We even stayed at a hotel called Hotel Peru.
