Photographer’s Note

Alcántara es un municipio de España, en la provincia de Cáceres, Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura.

Está situado en la orilla izquierda del río Tajo, en su confluencia con el río Alagón, cerca de Portugal. Su nombre moderno proviene del término árabe Al Qantarat, que quiere decir El Puente debido al puente romano situado en sus inmediaciones. Es capital de la comárca histórica de la Tierra de Alcántara.

Alcantara is a municipality of Spain in the province of Cáceres, Autonomous Community of Extremadura.

Situated on the left bank of the Tagus river, in confluence with the river Alagón, near Portugal. Its modern name comes from the Arabic word Al Qantarat, which means The Roman Bridge because the bridge is located in the vicinity. It's historic capital of the region of the Earth Alcántara.

Hola amiga Charo,
una espléndida toma cuya sencillez en los elementos incluidos en el encuadre se combina con la gran belleza estética de las siluetas, el contraluz y el sol tras las nubes en un cielo espectacular.
A veces sólo hace falta estar en el momento oportuno en el lugar adecuado, y por supuesto tener buen ojo, para tomar grandes fotos, como ésta. No hace falta que comente que los WS son muy buenos también.

I'm sorry for my late visit, I was absent till the day before yesterday due to heavy office process for my archive.

Excellent timing for capturing this wonderful moment. I liked powerful sun ball and rays still available blues on sky with clouds. Silhouettes perfectly taken at bottom of frame. Next captures of this amazing moments in your workshop post are wonderful too. Congratulations.
