Photographer’s Note

Como cada año por estas fechas, el Valle del Jerte se vistió de blanco, más de millón y medio de cerezos han iniciado su floración primaveral.

Todos los pueblos del valle celebran la Fiesta del Cerezo en Flor desde el día 20 de Marzo hasta el 4 de Abril.

El Cerezo en Flor lo tiene todo para convertirse en Fiesta de Interés Turístico Nacional. Mérito, capacidad, infraestructuras, gentes que se vuelcan, alcaldes implicados en ese objetivo y, sobre todo, un paisaje único en España.

La foto es del año pasado, este año no creo que pueda ir.

Like every year this time, Valley Jerte dressed in white, over one million and a half of cherry trees have started their spring flowering.

All villages in the valley celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival from March 20 days until April 4.

The Cherry Blossom has it all to become a Fiesta of National Tourist Interest. Merit, capacity, infrastructure, people who are turning, mayors involved in this objective and, above all, a unique landscape in Spain.

Photo of last year, this year I do not think it can go.

A splendid rendition of Spring. We too are having a very cold Spring season so far. They say it's because of La Nina. Anyway soon we will have our cherry trees in bloom.

Bueno... Si tu no vas ahí este ano, voy a cambiar mis planos. :D Infelizmente no es por eso que no voy.

Hiciste una compo muy lograda, que aprovecha no solo la belleza de los arboles floridos, pero además la luz del final del día e la visión de las montañas al fondo, que quedan muy bien encuadradas. También me gustan los WS's, principalmente porque proporcionan una buena visión del vale.

Es una foto realmente preciosa,

Hola amiga Charo,
no estoy al día, últimamente vamos un poco mal de tiempo.
Pero no puedo dejar pasar la ocasión de comentar la gran belleza de este lugar, que ya me explicaste personalmente, y que tu foto realmente pone en valor.
La foto principal es un excelente juego de luz y sombras sobre el plano cerrado de los cerezos en flor, pero los dos WS también podrían haber sido presentadas en primer lugar, ambas nos ofrecen la grandiosidad paisajística de este valle, en una magnífica información complementaria.
Muy buen trabajo.

It is almost Cherry Blossom Festival time in the U. S. too. Seeing your well composed photo of the hillside covered with cherry trees in full bloom is like looking at a magical land. You have skillfully captured the delicate blossoms. I like the large tree in the foreground on the left and the slant on the right. Lovely light and detail.
