Photographer's Note
Life is peaceful and quiet on ancient villages, a few people living there in peace...sometimes just "broken" by photographers presence!! ;)
Hervas, a Spanish municipality located north of the province of Cáceres, Extremadura, whose capital is the town of the same name. The municipality is located in the foothills of the Sierra de Bejar, in Valle del Ambroz. It is located 123 km from Cáceres and 90 in Salamanca. With over 4000 inhabitants, is the administrative and commercial center of the region of Valle del Ambroz and the most populous municipality in this county. Enjoy mild continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. The village belonged to Bejar until 1816, when he was awarded the title of town. Until 1833 did not belong to the province of Cáceres. The town is famous for its Jewish quarter. Jewish Quarter From the fifteenth century, several Jewish families settle in Hervás. The result of their stay in this population, creating the now known as the Jewish Quarter, group of buildings of the time, preserved in some cases, as they were originally, which can be found in the lower area of the town, the closest to the river Ambroz. It is this area which has earned more fame this population. Declared a Historic-Artistic, walking through its streets is to immerse yourself in a bygone era but alive and real. Its narrow streets, with strong backs and a passageway leading to large, irregular blocks, houses made of adobe and wood tile revoked. So all corners and all are unique, unrepeatable. This is one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Spain. Is included in the network of Jewish Quarters in Spain.

Ciao Manuel,
ahahahahahahahahahah! Funny title and scene! :))
La signora sembra arrabbiatissima di essere fotografata.
Mamma miaaa! Penso che se potesse, ti romperebbe la fotocamera.
Avrei però dato un taglio verticale per concentrare maggiormente l'attenzione sull'anziana signora.
Well done and TFS!

Hi Manual,
Haha, a well found and titled photograph. Such an interesting take on life in this village. I like the imposing aspect of the pathway and how steep it features in the image. The placement of the subject at the lower left gives great depth and real perspective to the whole scene. Well done!

Hello Manuel,
this is absolutely flawless and amusing one. The low DOF works great, I like the slightly curved diagonal of the pavement and the facial expression LOL.
Bravo, perfect shot.

Le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est qu'elle n'est pas contente de jouer les vedettes! En tout cas elle constitue un excellent centre d’intérêt pour ta très bonne photo.
