Photographer's Note

Located southeast of the province of Cáceres, on the southern slope of the Sierra de Altamira and in the foothills of the Villuercas, the area enjoys a mild climate throughout the year, which favors a variety of fruit áboles , large pine and chestnut, which form a beautiful place, especially in the summer time.

Guadalupe is a town that offers tourists cobbled streets, iron balconies and wood truss buildings, fitted together, with squares that take us back to the past, such as the Plaza Mayor which gives the main facade of the monastery.

Situada al sureste de la provincia de Cáceres, sobre la falda sur de la Sierra de Altamira y en las estribaciones de las Villuercas, la zona disfruta de un clima templado a lo largo de todo el año, lo que propicia una gran variedad de áboles frutales, grandes pinares y castañares, que configuran un hermoso paraje, sobre todo en la época veraniega.

Guadalupe es una población que ofrece al turista sus callejuelas empedradas, sus balcones de hierro y madera, sus edificios entramados, encajados entre sí, con plazuelas que nos devuelven a tiempos pasados, como la Plaza Mayor a la que da la fachada principal del monasterio.

Hola amigo Luís, hoy nos regalas esta bonita foto de las interesantes calles con bonitas fachadas de esta interesante villa extremeña, con una encantadora vista de la sierra al fondo. small,but very charming and picturesque town.Judging by the scene a real paradise for photographers looking for unique spots.I really enjoy how you were able to depict beauty of the architecture and unique ,mountainus location of the town.The background with those mountains is impressive.The image has superb clarity,depth and beauitful colors.

Hi Luis,
Guadalupe seems to have many of the criterias most of us appreciate. Old charming architecture, narrow streets who are waiting to be explored, restaurants and nearby nature! I like the vertical format where we can see this street and the mountains within the same frame. Crisp and clear shot and a good note, Tfs!

I guess I will never get tired of these charming narrow streets. They have very special atmosphere about and you managed to capture it very well. The light helps very much to bring up the mood and the colors. Nice composition and mountains in the background work very well as a finishing touch.

Very eyecatching from nice pov showing this neat looking old town and the narrow alley with its unique character. It's well exposed in bright daylight but the contrast is simpling stunning with lovely dash of bright colored buildings with backdrop mountain extends the depth. This is remarkable in rich colors and the tonal contrast. A very well done shot beautifully taken, Congrats

Me parece que estas en Caceres con un amigo de TE?
Esta captura es de gran perspectiva mostrando balcones y letreros con el fondo verde de la vegetacion
La lastima son las horribles camionetas que dan su toque de modernidad
Lo demas , colores, composicion , formato y encuadre esta muy bien presentado
