Illuminated city, a photo from Caceres, Extremadura

Photographer's Note

This one is the first photo that I present of my visit to Caceres, and is taken during a pleasant night stroll across the Monumental Area.
At the left side you can see the forum of the Balbos, also called porch of the "Corregidor", a small space at south of the Main Square of Caceres, Spain, attached to the wall of the monumental city.
It is placed in the place that was occupying one gate of Norba Caesarina's former Roman colony, and at its side the building of the town hall constructed at the end of the 19th century.

Ésta es la primera foto que presento de mi visita a Cáceres, y está tomada durante un agradable paseo nocturno a través de la Zona Monumental.
A la izquierda podéis ver el foro de los Balbos, también llamado atrio del Corregidor, un pequeño espacio al Sur de la plaza Mayor de Cáceres, España, adosado a la muralla de la ciudad monumental.
Está situado en el lugar que ocupaba una puerta de la antigua colonia romana de Norba Caesarina, y a su lado el edificio del ayuntamiento construido a finales del Siglo XIX.

Una perfecta imagen nocturna de este bonito rincon, admiro tu buen pulso para captar estas imagenes tan limpias sin el uso del tripode, el encuadre es magnifico contraponiendo dos estilos tan diferentes de arquitectura, la imagen transmite lo relajante de pasear por las viejas calles de esta ciudad tan llenas de encanto.

Night scenery collected well, Josep, with good exp. time and fine details.

I like the sharpness in your image even though you have taken the shot at a pretty high speed. The couple walking across the frame draw our attention as well as the lights fitted on the building.Great view and lovely presentation.TFS.

its amazing how sharp and still the 2 people are, considering the low light and slow shutter speed used, very impressed with that.

I like how the 2 buildings are converging towards eachother, it draws us inwards for sure.
love the illumination against the stark blacks too.
alot to appreciate.

Nice nocturnal shot. Well balanced composition of the square with the illuminated clock looking like the moon. The couple of people offer us scale. Pretty quiet square as it neared night. Very nice work!

A few years ago it was unthinkable to make
a picture with 3200 iso. I like your point
of view, the buildings has a nice V-skape
and that creates an extra depth. Light
mangement and composition are as always
