The Roman bridge of Mérida is a construction of 792 metres long on the Guadiana River and dates back to Roman times.
This bridge can be considered as the origin of the Roman city of Emerita Augusta, now Mérida (Spain).
The archaeological ensemble of Mérida is one of the leading and most extensive archaeological collections from Spain. Was declared patrimony of the humanity by the UNESCO in 1993.

Perfectly composed photo with the bridge across the frame. Very well chosen viewpoint.
The whole is harmonized well by beautiful color balance of green, brown and blue. And, the gry-white sky draw out an additional special atmosphere, too. Nicely done.
