Photographer’s Note
thank you to all for the wonderful and enthusiast welcome to TE.
this shot was taken a about 15 minutes before the red sunset. The clouds looked like a theatrical set for a Wagner opera. Very huge, threatening and low.
End of the world came to my mind!

WOW!!!! It really does look like the end of the world. Well captured - I always seem to get caught without my camera when something as stunning as this happens. Well done.

Extraordinary capture of this surrealistic sky ! The composition and crop are well chosen and they enhance the impressive aspect of the clouds. The colors and light are well managed, with an interesting shadowy background. Thanks for sharing !

Hello Marialuisa
Very dramatic effectively.More so from the closed space between the clouds and the trees.
More dramatic than your beautiful first posting.
So welcome to TE.

What a dramatic sky! I would have ran to find my camera also, so amazingly powerful looking. I love the amount of dark silouette you've included, and the blue on the lower right, really contrasts with the dark looming mass of clouds. The lines sweep the eye upward and would have made me gasp in awe if I'd have been standing there. I agree with your "end of the world" thought, I think I would have ran for cover if out in the open after taking this shot. Excellent work.

Hello, Marialuisa!
This was really wonderful moment to catch some photos! The sky was absolutely amazing and dangerous. Watching Your picture I think about one of the most known books of Graham Masterton - Mannitou... If I was a director of the film, I would look for a scene like this one to make the viewer scared!
Beautiful work!

Greg
