Photographer’s Note

Inside one old house-museum in Tarragona I took this photo.

Between the camara and that little roman figures there was a stained-glass window, and I did the best that I could with the poor light.

My tripod, the only that I miss from my old camara (a coolpix, now I use a nikon d-50), was really useful. I could expand the feets of the tripod against the furniture where were the figures. The camara was touching the glass and, then, I shot.
Was the best that I could do.

About the house where I was I’m going to put a link (here).
Also add that I was so fool that almost I don’t share this photo. This is a long serie of photos and I cannot post all the photos that I make. Then I did a selection where this one not was included.
After I thought that I could post it as a WS.
Even after I thought that better as main photo than a WS. But change it would mean change the order of all the other photos (yes, they are all prepared).
Finally what I did was make this one the main photo and the actual WS had to be the main photo of today.

Por supuesto reconozco esta foto tuya... La luz es grande, muy buena. Por supuesto, una gran sencillez en la composición como esta la hace mejor...

Hola carlos,
La verdad es que no se que decir, al respecto de esta foto. Puede que sea mi monitor pero veo algo raro. Me sabe muy mal decirlo pero esta foto no me dice nada o bien es que no estoy inspirado que tambien puede ser.
Pero de todos modos y por la labor de colgar cada dia una foto, te mereces los puntitos.
Saludos y haber si quedamos un dia de esto con oscar que te haces mucho de rogar.

I think I see the photographer and someone watching him in the reflection. You got a good result under difficult conditions. Do you have any information on the Roman Dolls?

hola coco, esta casa tiene mucho pootencial fotografico me encanta el ws que publicastes muy atratvia. en cuanto a la foto principal, un motivo distinto, para las condiciones de luz que tenias creo que has hecho un muy buen trabajo. cuando ves la imagen en pequeño llama mucho la atencion, no puedes dejarte de preguntar: que es?

Kalispera Carlos...I see the foto ...and the fotografer also..in work standing...good..and very good detail fotografing obgect..almost...scientific!I thing in this situations with no light from uper at least is very difficult to attempt to photograf....But is very good try!!!...RGRDS

Encuentro muy original tu foto! Además, da la impresión y el efecto de que el conjunto sea de dimensiones mucho mas grandes de lo que debe ser en la realidad (el cuenco del lado es la referència). Buena idea! Un saludo!

Hi Carlos. After reading your note about the tough conditions were I'd say you did very well. The only issue would be a bit of noise. The reflections are a nice add. Good work Carlos.
