Photographer’s Note
This is the romanesque church of Sant Climent de Taüll, in the province of Lleida, Catalonia. It's one of the most important and representative works of this architectonic art. Dedicated in the year 1123, it is known for its campanile and for its murals, which were removed to the MNAC (National Art Museum of Catalonia) (Barcelona) in 1922, to prevent the theft of the murals. The murals, which are frescos, were removed by painting them with horsehide glue and then peeling off the hardened glue, carrying the pigments of the mural with it.
Among the murals is a striking rendition of Christ Pantocrator. In His left hand He holds a book which reads "EGO SUM LUX MUNDI", "I am the light of the world". On His right and left are the Greek letters alpha and omega.
This church is part of the Catalan Romanesque churches of the Vall de Boí which were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in November 2000.
This place is one of my preferred, to look for the spiritual peace that everyone of us desire.

Salutacions! Carme.

Excellent composition Felip. I like the details and sharpness of this architecture and you have managed it to be vertical against the frame. Superb perspective and pleasant to view. Regards. Jusni

Hola Felip,
Josep

Hello Felip,
I know this church. It's one of the many romanesque churches in the Vall de Boi. It's really beautifully captured. In my opinion sharpening is a litlle bit bit too strong.
Good composition and exellent point of view.

Eddie

Hola Felip
Compowise well done with the small triangle of the road in the FG. The bell tower is impressive & the setting of this stone church looks impressive & indeed the locale looks very peaceful. Perhaps a tad oversharpned, but a good picture otherwise.
Best Regards

Beau travail !
