Photographer’s Note

Hoy presento otra foto tomada en el pueblo de Torà, situado en la comarca de La Segarra, en la provincia de Lleida.
Torà es un pueblo de 1110 habitantes (en 1996), a una altitud de 448 m. sobre el nivel del mar.
El núcleo antiguo del pueblo está centrado en la iglesia de Sant Gil, a la que conducen callejuelas bien pavimentadas, con arcos y casas bien restauradas.

En la foto se puede ver un arco por donde pasa una de estas tranquilas callejuelas, y las viejas columnas de piedra de esta arquitectura tradicional, sencilla y robusta. La luz y las sombras creaban un ambiente muy especial y fotogénico.

En WS otra toma desde otro ángulo, en la que se puede ver una imagen completa de las casas que se ven al fondo de la foto principal.

Today I present another photo taken in the village of Torà, placed in the region of The Segarra, in Lleida's province.
Torà is a village of 1110 inhabitants (in 1996), to an altitude of 448 m. on the sea level.
The ancient nucleus of the village is centred on Sant Gil's church, to which they lead paved well alleys, with arches and restored well houses.

In the photo it is possible to see an arch where under there passes one of these calm alleys, and the old columns of stone of this traditional, simple and robust architecture. The light and the shades were creating a very special and photogenic atmosphere.

In WS another capture from another angle, in which it is possible to see a complete image of the houses that are seen in background of the main photo.

I was browsing the gallery and came upon your lovely picture. I like your POV, as it highlights the perspective of the passageway and the natural textures of the stones. The little bits of orange popping out from the flowers and flowerpot, as well as your choice of frame, give a finished look to the image. La vista es un verdadero encanto!
Escogiste un título excelente.
A mi no me gusta mucho el color del encuadre, y como esta un poco grande, prefiero decírtelo.
Al contrario, la foto me gusta mucho, me parece una invitación a pasear y a aprovechar el sol de nuevo!

Hola mi querido amigo Josep.
La verdad que tienes unos ojos para ver cosas que yo si paso por ahí no los veo, has conseguido aquí una preciosa foto de un rincón el cual tiene una magnifica perspectiva y una estupenda iluminacion, los colores están muy buenos igual que la nitidez y buenos detalles, el formato vertical no solo que esta perfecto para tu foto sino que era necesario en este caso y tu lo has aprovechado al máximo.

Vi en facebook unas fotos que pusiste y Rosa me dijo que era tu nieto, no lo podía creer, esta jugando y correteando, esta inmenso de grande. Que Dios lo bendiga.

Une photo qui s'apparente joliment à une peinture. Tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour former une très belle composition.

Bonjour Josep,

Une bien jolie mise en valeur de ce passage qui donne envie d'aller plus loin. L'agréable lumière donne une bonne profondeur à l'image et fait ressortir les détails de la pierre et l'agréable végétation la recouvrant. Joli coup d'oeil et merci pour la photo en WS où l'on peut constater que les maisons anciennes ont vraiment du charmes, merci Josep.

C'est tout le charme des vieilles pierres et des habitations traditionnelles. J'aime la lumière qui pénètre par l'arcade et qui au passage réveille les couleurs des plantes.

Desde luegos estas callejuelas de piedra y con soportales, son encantadoras y encima adornadas con plantas.
Bonita foto aunque creo que el marco tan llamativo desvía un poco la atención de la imagen.

Gostei bastante da luz intensa que atravessa o grande pórtico de pedra, nos passa a sensação de querermos ver mais e mais, justamente, aonde a foto termina. Ou seja, instiga a nossa curiosidade em saber o que é que existe para o lado de "cá". As texturas, cores e contrastes estão muito bem apresentados. Bonita mostra. Abraço, Consuelo

Similar photograph (comparing to my previous comment) regarding the excellent exposure! Lights and shadows are perfectly balanced here too! Besides that, the pov, the composition, sharpness and colors are all outstanding features in this attractive image as well!
Maybe, I don't really enjoy the frame, but that's a personnal taste! The picture itself is great!
