Last winter I worked doing some fieldwork in my hometown Almenar, Lleida and I suffered so much cold I took a picture to remember it. The ice of the tree is made by the fog, it gets so cold than the water drops freeze on the trees. The ice stays there until the fog goes away, which can last several weeks, fog there is very steady.
In Catalan we call it "gebre" |

Ben fet.
Sergio
Hi alex,
A suitable title as the image does indeed have such a cold and barren emotion about it.I like the pattern created by the trees and the fog blocks out any contact with their surroundings.Don't think of spain as being so cold...is this at a high elevation?Stay warm!
Regards, David
