Photographer’s Note

Another view of the old neighbourhood near the castle of Tossa de Mar. As far as I remember, this window lies in the wall that appears partially on the right of this WS of my previous post of this little town.

PS: These last days I feel like posting daily. Maybe I should be more selective, but I have never been good on deciding which are my best or worthiest photos, so I feel can't really opt for quality over quantity like so many of our fellows do. I often restrain myself from posting so often because I can't catch up with the critiques received. Please don't feel obliged to critique or comment all of my posts and forgive me if I can't retribute some of your critiques.

Hello Jose -

This is a very pleasing image..."so European." The technical detail as well as the composition are right on the money. I do like the nice reflection as it gives the scene depth and I think the offset of the window from dead center was the perfect choice. Well seen and presented.

Oi José,
Que simpática janela, com plantinhas lindas, uma decoração muito agradável. O reflexo na janela nos dá o complemento espacial perfeito, conjugado com o WS indicado (do post anterior) - muito interessante!
No WS#1, a nitidez é tanta que vi ali crianças (grandotas) brincado de "esconde-esconde"... E aí eu fiquei brincando de achar as pessoas ;-)

Sencilla pero demasiado agradable, una composición sin igual, con los elementos bien situados en el encuadre.

Hello Jose, it looks like the windows that I saw in Monsanto. The façade of the house is almost the same. The red flowers add a different taste to your composition. I even see some jasmines which I enjoy to smell. The ones in the WS gives an overall idea about the town. If it was near to Portugal, I would go there by car:)

Esta fotografia está belíssima!
Um ponto de vista muito bem escolhido, uma composição simples, mas verdadeiramente eficiente no sentido de transformar uma simples janela numa obra de arte! Nitidez, exposição e cores estão excelentes e muito apropriadas à imagem! Gosto muito dos detalhes da parede, das plantas que a enfeitam e do reflexo num dos vidros da janela, além da cortina ao fundo!

un détail de façade qui a beaucoup de charme, la reflection dans la vitre éclaire discrètement la photo et lui donne un peu de "peps".
