Photographer’s Note

I have shown the sea and the castle of this charming little town of Catalonia, now I show you the streets. Not much to say about this one, I had to post one of the rare shots with people that (hopefully) isn't too messy. It was a pleasant stroll in a hot afternoon after a good lunch near the main church.

Hello Jose,
this is a very beautiful daily-life scene.
I like this street, it's so pleasant looking at, but overall I like people's movement, that gives great dynamism to the scene. Excellent light and colors.

Olá José, se calhar para tua surpresa escolheria o WS2 que não mostra pessoas nenhumas. Nesta até acho piada à presença da menina do chapéu rosa mas apetece-me apagar o turísta a fotografar. Ela poderia ser uma personagem de Tossa de Mar mas assim é evidente que é uma turísta à espera do seu companheiro o que lhe tira algum encanto. O WS2 atrai imediatamente pela luz rasante na fachada branca. Tem os arranjos florais, o candeeiro lá em cima, as texturas em relevo e as sombras compridas a rastejar por ali abaixo. Ainda assim, percebo a tua escolha aqui mas hoje devo estar no contra ;-)

Jose, sorry for confusing you the other day, I must not have been paying attention. You however have been paying close attention because this shot is FANTASTIC. The bofy language of the lady with the pink hat is absolutely perfect, you were exactly in the right place at the right time. Great work.

I like this one.

Photographer shooting people on the street, his woman waiting for him and another photographer/TE kind shooting the whole scene.

I like 3 things :
.the street scene, very clean
.photographer with P-S camera but big bag
.his woman, look at brown bag & red hat :)

Good dof and brightness level.

I like this one better than WS. Nice work.

Parece que os turistas estavam a fotografar-se uns aos outros ;-)
Não é uma vista extraordinária, mas é agradável pela variedade de detalhes (até o chapéu cor-de-rosa).
Gostaria que aquele pedacinho de céu fosse um pouco maior.
Com os WS, esta é a melhor.

A fotografia é todo linda mas o destaque fica por conta da bela moça olhando para o fundo. belo trabalho.

Absolutely charming and lazy atmosphere you captured here.
I like sun like this, old rows like this and architecture and places like this. :)
To be honest with you, I strongly consider Portugal as my holiday destination.
Maybe Madeira... :) We'll see...

Nous sommes au mois de juillet, saison estivale, et je note que les rues ne sont pas remplies par les touristes. Que cela doit être agréables de se promener dans cette jolie ville. Je remarque aussi que les rue sont propres ce qui est un atout supplémentaire. Comme tes photos en WS, une lumière qui donne une belle qualité d'image et cette jeune femme au premier plan apporte la touche de fraicheur à la composition, bien joli chapeau. Merci José.

Embora goste dos Ws, esta é, sem dúvida, a minha favorita. Gosto da cena (que deve ser bem comum por aí durante o verão) e dos detalhes, especialmente do chapéu cor de rosa.

Hello Jose -

I find the travel shots with people doing their everyday thing the most interesting. Sometimes they tell more about the towns and villages than the ones about the monuments and landscape. This is an urban landscape captured in the harshist of conditions. You have done very well to manage the light and still maintain details through out. Well done!

Que charmoso parece-me esse lugar! Quando estive em Barcelona ouvi falar dele, mas não tinha tempo para visitar tudo! Aliás, prefiro permanecer mais dias num lugar apenas e nem sempre é suficiente! Enfim... quem sabe de uma próxima vez!
Sua foto está muito boa, com nitidez excelente, exposição correta, cores bem naturais e bonitas! O ponto de vista foi bem escolhido e a composição muito bem feita! Gosto da informalidade das pessoas que dela fazem parte!
