Photographer's Note

The small village of Els Hostalets d'En Bas, is barely a couple of streets, but still retains the flavor and charm of small towns.
A stroll through the streets Teixeda, and justify the visit, stone houses with road gates and balconies, where flowers abound. Apart from its charm this town has a Romanesque church and a bridge in the same style. In this picture you can see Teixeira street and the church in the background.

El pequeño pueblo de Els Hostalets d´En Bas, tiene apenas un par de calles, pero conserva todo el sabor y el encanto de los pequeños pueblos.
El paseo por su calle Teixeda , ya justifica la visita, casonas de piedra con puertas carretera y balconadas de madera, donde abundan las flores. Al margen de su encanto este pueblo cuenta con una iglesia de origen romanico y un puente del mismo estilo. En esta foto podéis ver precisamente la calle Teixeida y la iglesia al fondo.

Allô Luis!
Jolie scène de rue et belle prise en diagonale. J'aime bien les édifice décorés de fleurs et de verdure, le clocher et les montagnes derrière. bien vu le personnage qui humanise la scène. Bonne gestion de l'éclairage entre ombre et lumière et excellent rendu des couleurs.

Un joli village dans la lumière des Pyrénées catalanes . Belle pespective sur la place fleurie jusqu'au clocher de l'église . Ca serait mieux sans les voitures ... mais il faut bien se garer !

Hola Luis,
has recuperado las fotos de tu paseo por Catalunya después de nuestro agradable encuentro en Andorra.
Es un pueblo precioso, toda esta zona de la Garrotxa tiene un encanto muy especial, y en esta toma podemos ver su deliciosa arquitectura tradicional em piedra y madera, y sus tejados de tejas rojas.
Lo que vemos aquí en una bonita perspectiva es prácticamente su única calle, que has captado en medio de un buen juego de luz y sombras, y con el dinamismo que aporta la mujer que pasaba por allí en aquel momento.
Es una composición muy atractiva a la vista, con buena luz y colores muy vivos.

Hola amigo Luis, excelente y encantadora foto de este presioso pueblo de bonita arquitectura de piedra y madera, excelente pov para trazar esta buena perspectiva que nos permite ver toda la fachada soleada de la calle y muy buena profundidad para apreciar el fondo, un bonito pueblo que bien merece una visita. Excelente y encantador trabajo, mis felicitaciones por ello. Tfs.

the little village is very picturesque, well taken care of and beautiful. Your point of view and composition make the most of the architecture, natural background, lovely afternoon. Depth and perspective are wonderful and inviting. The mountain is a great textured backdrop reflecting the lines of the roofs. The strong light is managed marvelously offering delicious colours and effective contrasts. The lady makes an important contribution with her movement and choice of blouse, relieving and illuminating the shadow that also frames the picture. I love the way all the elements of the composition interact. Well done and thank you!

Un paese di charme, piccolo ed a misura d'uomo, di quelli che ti fanno venire la voglia di scappare dai centri più grossi dove tutto diventa frenetico e senza pause.
Molto buono ed efficace il POV dal basso, splendida la luce, i colori ed i contrasti.

A charming scene with pretty houses, baskets of flowers, tree lined slopes and a deep blue, cloudless sky.
You have coped well with the contrasts of shade and sunlight, such that the scene is nicely exposed with the details accessible.

Hola Luis,
That small village really looks very picturesque. The habitants like to decorate the grey thick stone facades of their houses with many plants and colourful flowers.
The church tower at the end of the street points nicely to the thickly wooded mountain slopes which make a splendid backdrop.
The whole village and the mountains behind it are bathing in a nice strong sunlight (something I'm missing in my country already for a long time).
Very charming and colourful picture, well composed and with good sharpness.
