Photographer’s Note
“He, he, he, he,...”
Sure, he was laughing. Perhaps he was laughing at me.
I am not sure.
Well, but he had a fun time.
This is one of that portraits that once time I’ve done it, I would like give to the people who appear in the photo.
And in the next days I am going to post another photos with the same story: I am glad with the photo and I would like share with the people who appear in the photo.
But sometimes is not possible.
We see or meet people who propably we won’t see again.
But this time I’ve do it. I gave a copy of the photo to his family.
I hope you like it.
(also WS, 1 & 2)
Dedicated for all the people who works with children.

Bonita nota y estupendo retrato, Carlos.

The little boy is adorable- those eyelashes..they make me jealous. I like your downward POV and how close we get feel to your subject. The overblown forehead highlight is interesting- it’s not a bad thing, but it just pulls some attention from his eyes, which is where I personally would have tried to put all focus on. It’s really a great portrait. Good work.

hola Carlos
I like much this face and the expression of this little boy. there is complicity between you two. It is amusing.
ws 1 is very good, even pov but the compo is more "ventilated" than this charming portrait.
Well done

Hola Carlitos.

Interesting and unusual angle to take the portrait; it really emphasises his features especially his eyes and mouth. In the WS you are either exceptionally tall or you stood on something. It seems to be sooo high up.

Saludos !

Hi Carlos.
It has been a while since I have seen your gallery--you have a lot of wonderful shots! I chose to comment on this photo for several reasons: The subject is incredibly responsive and comfortable with you--I think this is really important when you are photographing children. I can tell that the boy was very comfortable with you and there is a nice connection. I also like the perspective, b&w, and the glow on the boy's face--great lighting. I am a teacher and work with children of all ages--so, thanks for the dedication :) Take care.
Kirsten
