a nice shot, simple but very effective! Composition is pleasant and colors are sharp.
It seems really a lovely village, and it's like many village here in Italy: stone, little streets, windows... a special place to rest and enjoy silence.

hey Oscar
really charming view. really takes me back to a different era altogether. the colors are really good. i just felt that the roofs on the right could have been cropped off, would have made the composition tht much more tighter.

A lovely view of the alley way fill with cobble stone houses. We don't build house this way anymore. just very charming. Great sharpness and details on the texture of the stone. Lovely warm colors overall. Well seen and presented. Thanks

Me gusta el punto de vista, aunque las formas lineales tienen cierta inclinacion, pero me agrada la nitidez de los detalles en el plano intermedio

That alley seems incredibly steep. Wonderful place with old stone made houses. Yes I think it has looked like that for ages. I'd like to see the alley on the bottom of the frame though.

Not always easy to get an adequate pov especially in the narrow street like the one you're showing us with its medieval houses and I would not mind to stroll through this charming village.

What makes this picture interesting and succesful, is your decision to leave out the road (or stairs) going down and to include that big part of the wall on the left of the image. I think I will try that too some day...

aquesta és de les que m'agraden, carrers estrets de pobles amb molt caràcter i arquitectura autèntica, molta pedra i molt caliu.
La perspectiva i el pendent del carreró funcionen, el fanal és un bon detall, i fins i tot m'agrada veure els cables que creuen, formen part del paisatge.

These days I do not spend too much time on TE and therefore I miss nice pictures of my friends.Such as this village in Catalunya.
Well, there are many reasons why I like it, but the main reason is that being up there somewhere you managed a picture full with houses and no white space like the air.

Oscar,
what an appropriate title for the image. The whole scene has so much of history and givs almost the impression that you stepped into a time machine to get back to ancient times. At least that is the impression with my californian eyes where history, at least from the American point of view, just started in 1850 whith the gold rush.
Looking into the image I wonder how the same would look with a vertical or square presentation.

Lol tu "note". Carla es una mini-Nikki ??? Soy casi una mini-Carla.
Bonito recuerdo de este pueblo bonito bien que preferia una poco mas nitidiez en el primero plan (solo f/4.8 ?) y una persona con una camiseta roja (Mikel por ejemplo) abajo. Vale pero como mis hijos no te dejaron tranquil, te perdono ;-)
