Photographer’s Note
The approach to Montserrat is something i wiil never forget, neither will i forget being in the monastery-where i failed to take many sharable pictures due to being awestruck!.
There is a famous relic here called 'the black virgin
of Montserrat', supposedly carved by Saint Luke in 50.AD. People join a long que to approach the statue & touch her. This was taken whilst in that line.
I'm not very religious-but was moved by the general atmosphere of the whole place.
