Today I have been to the beach, not too far from Barcelona.
This beach is called Gavà Platja. Approximately 15 kms far direction south from Barcelona. Natural. Clean. Wild. Splendid day today. Gavà is a very nice village which has become very big during the last years, but you can still enjoy of its beaches and the pine trees forests. When you have to drive back to the centre of the village, you can still see lots of agriculture; sunny, excellent lowland where you can get wonderful asparagus, artichokes, salads, tomatoes, green beans. Along the beach there is a very nice promenade and also beautiful private houses. No hotels in this area, so you have plenty of space, which is quite rare bearing in mind a big city is located just 15 km far away ! Sometimes, you are disturbed by the noise of the aircrafts landing at the Airport,
but it depends of the direction of the wind. Today the noise was smooth, so I could enjoy a beautiful morning on the beach !
