Photographer's Note
He was very beautiful, the crystal ball rolled around his body with grace and skill. I waited for a moment when his figure stood out from the complicated background. His outstretched right arm and snake-like left arm opitomised his organic presence.
Not wishing to elevate myself through anothers art, I feel there is poetry in this picture.

Hi Martin,
Nice photo. Composition is nice too. I think a little more blurring of the building in the background will be good.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!

Interesting performer, you captured a good pose. The light is just right, and the background colors complement him. Why was he performing? A parade or just a putting on a show on a street corner?

Very cool shot. I like it a lot but I think that it would really be improved if the ball and hand were sharper. The eye inevitably goes towards the right side and it is just a little blurry. I also agree that the background could be a little blurrier to give more attention to the subject. Now, how would you get that hand sharper?

Martin, this image is a piace of art. You captured the emotion and sensibility f this street artist in Spain. The background worked perfectly with patern colours and strange risks that made you picture so sharp and interesting. All the best!

Hi, Martin,
You've captured the essens of his performance, and you did it greatly. Light beam (may be crystal ball reflection)on the right palm of the street artist is a very nice touch. Excellent out of focus background emphasizing the figure. Very well done!

Hi Martin.
It's funny how the photo is so much more appealing than the thumbnail.
You used very well the expressive pose of the artist and managed the lighting, DOF and compo superbly. The sharpness is amazing.
Very good work indeed.
I wish I hadn't exhausted my daily "rating quote" so I could give you some points.
TFS.

A construção desfocada ao fundo, a concentração do artista, as cores, a luz,... tudo impecável!
Bom trabalho.
Abraço,
Luciana.

hello martin
i find this one very interesting... i always associate barcelona with gaudi. i don't think, the house in the back is actually designed by gaudi, but the way you have composed the photo (the eathman juxtaposed over the trees and the yellowish building fasade): the whole scene looks very gaudi-ish to me... a beautiful observation!
regards,
kristaps

This is a nicely framed image Martin which shows the grace and beauty of his art and his performance concentration really well. I think tonally there is something more I am looking for here - perhaps a little tweak on the levels?
best wishes Kev
