"What a shot!" I exclaimed as I looked down from the top floor of the MACBA in Barcelona and saw this.
The woman must have reached the end of the sentence in her book!

Un bon coup, c'est bien vu!
J'aime bien cette scène vue d'en haut, contraste et graphisme sont intéressants.

You are too convinced by the street photography!
A high vantage to reveal a white "Y" upside down on the dark pavement, and a golden lady (no more golden boys?) comfortably seated and reading a leaflet.
what a shot!

Amazing view from the Top! Good conceptual composition. this is not a postcard, the colors are not so attractive, anyway it's an interesting experience.

Tu as vraiment un oeil très particulier. Je ne crois pas que j'aurais vu la même chose, comme quoi nous sommes tous différents.Un ensemble d'un bel esthétisme.

it's surely exciting to find an intriguing composition having arranged itself so nicely and waited briefly for you to notice it and capture it in the best possible way. Apart from the aesthetic value and the inspiration such scenes give you, they must also bring some excitement about capturing a scene and a mood that lasted so briefly and yet you created something new out of it. I like very much how you adjusted the composition to the scene, making the random arrangement look like a work of art. The graduating light and colours are atmospheric and attractive. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

Imagine if birds could take photos... :-). Almost any dull or ordinary view gets a new life when seen from straight above. You have again very successfully given the colours nicely "dirty" tones.

She's about to be hit by an exclamation mark!
Strong, hmm.., typography. Interesting to see how her coat and pants seem to have the same shiny quality as those objects.

I can fully understand your passion - it is only rarely that it happens, but when it does, the feeling is amazing - that moment of realisation once you have pressed the shutter that this is definitely going to be a good shot! And, of course, in this case, it's a brilliant one.
The composition is so simple and yet so strong and I'm sure that's what most appealed to yourself. But for me the most wonderful part is the way that the lady stands out so beautifully against her background, particularly the way in which the light plays on the fabric of her trousers, showing all the nuances of light and shade, colour and texture.
Whichever way you look at this, it is a wonderful photograph and one of which I would have been very proud had I taken it.

I've been away for some time, so have missed a lot of your recent posts. You certainly seem to have found a second wind on TE. Can't say I have. So many of them are worthy of comment/praise, but I'm too lazy, so I'll content myself with this one. A cracker, as your exclamation rightly indicates. In the thumbnail, I thought I was looking at a torso-less pair of legs, so I'm mildly disappointed (or relieved) that there is a body attached. Fine composition, great - available - light. Excellent.

Wow - indeed what a shot. Very graphic and I particularly enjoy her gold trousers against the grey and white. Flawless exposure and production - great work!
Kind Regards, Ann

this is a cracking shot. you spotted it well and composed it perfectly. great balance of the elements and fantastic contrast between the lighter and darker areas. your processing is also a factor in making this a very striking image.
