Casa Mila (La Pedrera), Barcelona, again... a little different this time. as I am sure some of you who know this place well will notice.
I am running out of Gaudi images - but I am returning in May so will bombard you with even more when I return I am sure!

a superbly creative view of this amazing place. The POV and sense of falling into a hole here are both clever and compelling. Well done! I love it!

I like very much this composition and the way the vertiginous view into the patio has been framed by the roof. The downward perspectives have a tremendous impact, they seem to be ending abruptly and our glance bounces up and down until we find the will to stop it. The many windows make attractive and mysterious focal points, the people deep down are intriguing too. I also like the combination of soft and sweet with dark colours, you enhanced the depth of the frame with the shadow. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a good night,

So, I thought when I critiqued your other shot from up on top of Casa Mila that it really worked so well and now this one surpasses it. Great to keep pushing the boundaries. I saw an assignment yesterday that challenged us to take 36 pictures of the same thing- each and every one different. I like the colour fade into the central well and the dramatic vignette is wonderful.
Great work, thanks for sharing

Wow! You have chosen your viewpoint here perfectly to produce an almost abstract image with wonderful graphism and also incredible depth.
The composition is dramatic to say the very least, the depth of field is remarkable, as is the sharpness throughout, and the colours are beautifully soft. You have also managed the lighting very well in your processing work as I can imagine that the original image must have had very strong contrasts with many areas of deep shadow and others of overwhelming brightness.
I presume (from looking at "Properties for the image) that this might be an entry for a competition with the Coventry Photographic Society and I can't imagine that it could fare less than superbly with any judge who has even half a brain.
P.S. Come to think of it, I'm always the sleuth, so is this you? It must surely be!

A well-known scene, but this is one of the best shots of it I've seen. I like the vignetting effect and the slightly desaturated look here. I'm not a big Gaudi fan, but this picture I like.

Hello again Mike,
I never tire of pictures of Barcelona and really must do a return trip there myself.
This is a picture that vertigo sufferers shouldn't look at! A dramatic interpretation of this amazing architecture.
Very well done.
Kind Regards, Ann

un punto vista inusuale ed una particolare elaborazione trasformano questo gioello architettonico in una grande fotografia nella quale l'arte dell'architetto si unisce all'arte fotografica.
Eccellente composizione, straordinaria elaborazione e nitidezza eccellente.
Un lavoro straordinario
Ciao e buon fine settimana
