One more example of the locks of love craze seen in various parts of Europe. In this case, they are appropriately enough at Gaudi's Park Güell, which has recently begun (for the first time) charging visitors to visit the grounds.
These locks are located on the top of one of the hills in the park. This little girl was proudly photographed every foot or so, as her adoring parents sought to document each step in her life.
Cute as she was, I limited myself to just this one shot.

This is a beautiful portrait with skin tones nicely displayed and good use of the light. The delicate features of the girl very nicely shown. Thanks for sharing.

i remember you saying that due to some protection law, you ought to include the parents in children photography: here, i see the parental hand, therefore i am convinced :)
this is the third "locks of love" photo i see on TE this week, i guess it became a fashion. some may disagree, but i put this fashion to the same place with carving your initials on a tree trunk. further, i see it a useless effort to immortalize something which is mortal. sorry, lovers... :)

A cute child (meaning nearly all of them) will capture everyone's attention. Dress her in nice colors and she becomes irresistible for every photographer. This girl gets some competition from the padlocks and the graffiti but she is still the undeniable star of the show. There's a slight minus for the parent's hand :-).

un beau portrait de petite fille magnifiquement éclairé par ces touches de lumière. Une image pleine de tendresse.

A beautiful portrait of this little girl, and a great backdrop for her too with these locks! It is strange how popular this has become. Even in Dublin people had started doing it on one of the cities bridges. However, the council cut them off. Booo to the fun spoilers :)
A great shot under great light. I wonder how it feels to be a kid in this modern age where every single second is recorded. I am glad I grew up in the 80's where my antics could only be recorded on a max of 24 shots on a roll of film, the results of those are embarrassing enough!
All the best

hehehehe what a cutie! And as far as being locked out of Park Guell is concerned, I hear this little gal's pain. Although my reasons for being so were related to pork products and too much red wine. I like how she looks down from the camera and the play of light and shadow, created by the padlocks make this a very visually interesting photo. Helps to have a cute subject, but you did great even without her.
Cheers, have a lovely day
