Ok - another reflection. This time in the window of what appeared to be a closed down bank, somewhere in the Barri Gotic area of Barcelona.

This photo and title would have been great to be the very first posted shot from yr Barcelona series.
First of all, i love the frame, and how it looks so white and 'airy' ......if that IS a word.
It has Juan stamped all over it too! Haha
Perfect dual reflection. Looks very cool and creative.
Did you try to convince Juan to come back to TE? Perhaps he will at some point? Did he give any specific reasons why he left?

Love this reflection, and how cool that a bank has finally provided a good use for people too! I had to study this for a moment before reading your note, and it was actually only the man in the red hat that gave to me the notion that this was a reflection, otherwise I thought it was a view of a very beautiful square with perhaps a sculpture in the middle. Really nicely done.
All the best

I like very much this symmetrical composition that's very playful actually. I think it works like the visual games in which we try to spot the differences, our glance and mind work in the same way, going shifting from left to right and checking. The architecture is appealing and the content is meaningful. The human presence is a detail that entices us to reflect on human interest issues:) You've managed the intensity of the light and the subtle tonalities superbly. When we scroll up and down, there's a funny effect of movement on the pattern in the middle of the frame. Congratulations and thank you! I appreciate very much your generosity towards my picture:)
All the best, have a great evening,

Yet another of your wonderful "reflections" pictures but this one is in stunning symmetry and I could just imagine Harry Worth (if you can remember that far back) waving his arm and leg in a window here.
Like so many images, this one looks so very much better at larger size as seen on the "beta" version of TE where we can fully appreciate all the details and the high technical quality.
The symmetry is perfect and the lighting, colours, sharpness and exposure are bang-on.
P.S. Do you know what would be great? Have you ever thought of adding co-ordinates to your uploads so that we can look at Map:view and see exactly where you took your pictures?

Never before I've seen Barcelona presented as a white town like here.
The mirror effect is brilliant. Funny, but I started looking if I could find some differences :) The lower right corner is brighter than the left one and has a bit more colour.
Best regards, Paul

This is my favourite of your reflection series. I like the way it seems like two photos joined into one due to the spilt, and it somehow has an Escher feel about it. The bleached out colour and panoramic format also addd to the appeal.

I can only imagine the fun you had in Barcelona, with Juan as your guide. There are lots of inspirational places and you certainly found a lot of them to suit your style.
This is another quite delightful shot, perfectly composed to obtain a complete mirror image. The figure looks like an exhausted cyclist, with so many bikes in the b/g, and he animates the scene well.
Have a great Sunday,

Hello again Mike,
I love these kinds of shots, and yours is perfect. I like the symmetry and great exposure. The other thing that grabs me is the muted colors. Everything is quite pale, aside from the man's cap and some other bits if color that peak out here and there. Very well-seen and well-presented!

What marvelous imaginations you have - double vision well worked with merging here!! Well we don't have one but two together and you really know how to make the every day extraordinary. Love the way reflections create an alternative reality here, very effective, I can't see the difference. It's about creativity again and having the person in the image adds to it a lot. So well thought out and clever and more to the point works well. This is a wonderful bit of artistry and the joy of photography. Very well done.

This is awesome Michael!definitely not just another reflection-itīs really excellently considered and executed shot.Just love how this metallic element of the facade divides the image into two the same parts.
Creative and eye-catching!
Have a nice weekend
