Museu Maritim is one of the more specialist museums and covers the period 1750 to 1850. It includes all forms of maritime artefacts from Barcelona and the sourrounding districts.

This is a fantastic scene, really like something from raiders of teh lost arc. The displayed item has such superb colours and looks like a very valuable object. Stunning capture of the depth of the scene too, and beautifully framed. Really a wonderful image, thanks for sharing

Hello Juan,
first shot of your latest visit to Museum Maritim and it´s really eye-catching.I like the boat,it´s undoubtly beautiful and with rich history.But what immediately catched my eyes is the stone walls and wooden vaults.The interior couldn´t look much more captivating.I love it!

its great that you were able to capture the top parts with the arches and the brown wood grains.

questa tua foto è apprezzabilissima per la perfezione della composizione che viene ad essere arricchita da un contrasto ed una illuminazione che rasenta la perfezione.
Il risultato, a mio parere è perfetto e merita di essere apprezzato non solo per il soggetto, ma anche e soprattutto per la tecnica che grazie al tuo contriobuti lo ha saputo valorizzare degnamente.

Hi Juan,

Incredibly well composed shot! The repetitive arches are fascinating and draw me right into the image, and they frame the ship magnificently. The colors are outstanding and contrast so well. I especially like the intermittent wooden beams between the arches. Nice, sharp detail and exposure. Quite a well arranged and presented photo, thanks for sharing.

This has a real cinematic quality to it, Juan, a dramatic scene coming to life. Wonderful framing and presentation, and the background light adds a beautiful glow outlining the ship. Awesome!

Ces arches constituent un superbe écrin pour cet étonnant bateau que tu as remarquablement photographié, maîtrisant parfaitement la lumière. Je suis bluffé par le peu de bruit à 6400 ISO!

What a great shot Juan. It's more than a mere record of the boat as your composition and execution is very creative and beautiful. I like the way the wooden detail in the ceiling echoes the rich wooden detail and colours on the boat. Excellent shot. Warm regards rosemary
