This image has been taken at a very popular and well-known place in Barcelona - the Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria. The pose and expressions of the man were quite interesting for me. Hope you like the scene.

Hello Gosia,

good POV, good sharpness, good light. A perfect shot with so many details, e.g. his reflection in the mirror, the "no chorizo" sign, ...
And you are right, I also like the pose and the expression on his face.
This photo shows real life.

C'est un marché qu'il ne faut pas manquer à Barcelone. Tellement de beaux produits et de bonnes bouchées à prendre avec une petite bière. La pose de l'homme est reposante et observatrice à la fois.

Nice daily life catch, Gosia! His pose is indeed really interesting, and you've interpreted it well - a relaxing moment between orders. The inclusion of the woman at left is nice too, adding to the impression of a busy lunch counter. Nice sharp light evokes the feel of indoor lighting nicely, and with most of it focused on him, there's almost a vignetting effect setting him apart. Nicely seen and captured.

Great expression, and amazing clarity to your shot too. The image is very lively and colorful, and I cant help but wonder what is going through his mind.
My eye is drawn to the tomatoes too, maybe because I like them so much, but probably the vivid red colour.

nie jest tak zle, jak widac sa jacys klienci, zastanawiam sie czy w poziomie nie byloby lepiej - poszlibysmy na lewo za ich wzrokiem, ale to takie gdybanie, a widze ze po prawej jest lustro wiec moze w nim odbijalo sie...

The man have to very depth think and indeed wait on new clients.
Excellent daily life picture with these man as subject.
A nice composition, good captured too with the handrails in specially decorative stair.

swietnie wypatrzona scena z jednego z Tapas barow w Barcelonie.(swoja droga wiedzialem ze wszystkiego nie dam rady zobaczyc ostatnio-a ten targ jest jednym z miejsc,ktore bede chcial koniecznie zobaczyc nastepnym razem w Barcelonie).Poza i wyraz twarzy tego kelnera sa bardzo wymowne,choc mozne je roznie interpretowac.Znakomicie wychwycona i skadrowana scena.

Nice moment captured made all the more special by the pose of the man whose character shines through. He looks quite regal! He has a look of a young Nigel Pivaro who played the character Terry Duckworth in Coronation Street - a British TV soap.

This is an excellent snapshot. The man's pose is terrific. I like all the details, the man, his mirroring, the lady customer (well blurred) and the sweets & fruits behind glass. Only what I do not like is the blue spot (may by part of another customer) bottom left. Try to clone it out (an easy task).

Hi Gosia,

I'm a big fan of locals and their environment. This is a great moment captured, the slight expression of this gentleman says a lot...without him saying anything!? :) I particularly like the depth of field, having the customer in the FG blurred keeps focus on the main subject and takes the viewer into the moment. Love the white balance as well, colors and skin tone look natural...which is not always an easy task shooting indoors. Well executed and presented.
