Cable car tower, a photo from Barcelona, Catalonia

Photographer's Note

Barcelona port cable car is called "Transbordador Aeri del Port" and sometimes also "Teleférico del Puerto." The port cable car can be seen crossing Barcelona port with two small red and white cabins. The port cable car travels every 10-15 minutes across the Port Vell marina in Barcelona harbour to and from Barceloneta beach and Montjuic hill. The red port cable car was opened on 11. November 1931, probably as a late arrival for the 1929 Barcelona World Exhibition. The cabins hold 19 persons and are 70 m high above the sea.

Hello Daniel,
A cleverly composed image, making an interesting juxtaposition between the lamp and the cable car tower. I also like the repeating motifs offered by the masts of the yachts. A composition perfectly suited to the vertical format and very well presented.

Bonjour Daniel,

J'aime beaucoup ce cadrage vertical qui sert très bien tous les éléments de l'image comme le lampadaire, les mâtes des voiliers et cette belle tour métallique.

A smart compo making the eye to glide thru to main interest in the backgrouind by adding some intertest in the foreground. Lighitng is fine with some nice contrasting colors. The sky does add the visual impact, well done. Congrats.
