Photographer's Note
Gaudi's masterpiece of all masterpieces is still under construction some 80+ years after his death. it is forecast to be completed in 2026 (which will be the centenary of his death). The ongoing construction is funded by proceeds from visitors to the cathedral.
This is one of those incredible places that you can visit 100 times and come away with something entirely different each visit. Describing Sagrada Familia, art critic Rainer Zerbst said "it is probably impossible to find a church building anything like it in the entire history of art"and Paul Goldberger called it 'the most extraordinary personal interpretation of Gothic architecture since the Middle Ages'.

Ciao Kathryn
bello scatto, l' ottima esposizione fa risaltare la cattedrale molto bene aumentandone l'effetto con il riflesso.

Hello Kathryn
This is one hell of a great shot of the Sagrada. Even the cranes are mimicking the spires of the great church. Superb POV that gave you a gorgeous reflection in the water, so you got two for one here. Very nice indeed.
have a great sunday

Hello,
I like the colors and hence the mood shared by this shot: a golden church.
The only point I would have liked to have a bit differently is about the crane in top left corner. I would like to have it totally inside the frame, but I feel it would have be hidden by végétation on top.
Whatever, an original shot, it is the first time I see this famous subject presented in this way.
Yves.

Hi Kathryn,
A very unique take on this amazing place, and very beautiful too. The pin sharp reflection is wonderful, and something I have never seen in an image from here. The long exposure has made the church stand out like a jewel in the scene. I really like the cranes in the capture too, at some point in the future, this image will be a wonderful hisotrical record to the construction of this place. Fantastic work, thanks for sharing a completely new vision of here.
All the best
Noel

Hello Kathryn,
This is utterly magical.
WE visited Barcelona for the first time last year and were utterly captivated by the city. We never saw this spectacular building by night so I thank you for this.
The sharpness is amazing.
Even the cranes don't seem out of place.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Howdy Kathyrn,
Very impressive night vision of Sagrada Familia, for the extreme Gothic towering architecture, elaborate detailing, and all in golden lighting, then mirrored.
Good job,
Cheers,
Ray
