A jewel in the Casa Batlló, a photo from Barcelona, Catalonia

Photographer's Note

This photo is a complement for my last presentation, because it is the magnificent lamp that exists in the ceiling of the main lounge of the Casa Batlló.

Its Art Nouveau shapes, its subtle light with golden tones, the shades, and specially the wavy texture of the ceiling, were creating an image that fascinated me.

In WORKSHOP another capture. I doubted about which of them I must publish as main photo.

Esta foto es un complemento para la que presenté antes, porque es la magnífica lámpara que hay en el techo del salón principal de la Casa Batlló.

Sus formas Art Nouveau, su luz intimista y sutil con tonos dorados, y especialmente la textura ondulada del techo, creaban una imagen que me fascinó.

En WORKSHOP otra toma. Dudé sobre cuál de ellas publicar como foto principal.

Credit to your skill, you just seem to have that very keen eye for a scene like this. The highly decorative ceiling and highly delicate lamp creating an excellent visual aspect as a whole within limited space and there is a good depth too. This a wonderful indoor shot in available light that you have brought out so much out of this and bags of atmosphere. I reckon you excell at this type of photography and think you've done a fine job under this circumstances. A fine shot and excellent additional pict as well. Congrats

Hola Josep.
Para comentar la imagen de tu septimo aniversario salté esta, que llamó mi atencion ya en pequeño.
Una esplendida composicion muy bien realizada, que destaca esta hermosa lampara art nouveau, en este periodo tan creativo, uno se vuelve loco con los mil y un detalles dignos de ser captados.
Me gusta ese ritmo en espiral que da el dibujo del techo a la composicion, que esta logradisima tambien en una iluminacion intimista, de lo mas bonito.
Como siempre amigo amio un buen trabajo, realizado con buen ojo y buen gusto.
