Photographer's Note

22@, also known as Districte de la innovació (innovation district) is the corporative name given to a business development in Barcelona's formerly industrial area of Poblenou, in the district of Sant Martí, nicknamed "the Catalan Manchester" in the 19th century. Its aim is to convert Poblenou into the city's technological and innovation district, as well as to increase leisure and residential spaces. It's still under construction, centered around Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, is part of one of Europe's biggest urban regeneration schemes, begun during the 2000s and still ongoing, spanning 115 blocks or 198,26 ha.
Here you can find probably the most recognizable skyscraper Barcelona´s-The Torre Agbar.
The picture was taken during a sightseeing tour with Juan,who showed me the whole district with its amazing architecture.

Zadziwiaj±ca jest ta wspó³czesna architektura wie¿owców, trudno jest ja nazwaæ piêkn±, raczej faktycznie zadziwiajaco geometryczna, ale taka nieco odhumanizowana. Ujêcie Twoje jest wspania³e, pokazuje trzy jako¿e ró¿ne, choæ podobne do siebie budynki.
Perfekcyjna jako¶æ obrazu.

rzeczywiscie tak jak wczesniej wspomniales ze w Barcelonie jest duzo fascynujacej i imponujacej architektury. Tak jak zauwazylam ze niemal na kazdym kroku jest zawsze cos ciekawego do fotografowania, no i prosze jakie ciekawe obiekty archiektury. Na jednym zdjeciu jakie ciekawe budynki. Barcelons to niesamowite miasto. Bardzo podoba mi sie to zdjecie wspaniale wykonane. Jednym slowem miales wspanialego przewodnika, Juan. Swietnie wykonane zdjecie. Kolorystyka, ostrosc, swiatlo jest doskonale. Bardzo mie sie podoba POV z ktorego jest robione zdjecia. Super praca.

This is class :) It reminds me of a surrealist painting of Toytown! I first seen these buildings on Juans gallery, and between yours and Jauns captures, this is fast becoming the number one on my to do list. I love modern and interesting buildings, and it doesnt get any better than this!

I thought I had already commented on this attractive shot, but in fact I hadn't ! Well, you composed a very interesting and effective image with great graphical impact, using various styles of architecture. Your viewpoint is perfect to showcase these modern colourful buildings with their contrasting shapes. It may seem like a futuristic vision, but this is our today's world, and these buildings are just an urban expression of modernity. Very well done

an excellent sample of the modern architecture in my city, with the Agbar Tower boxed between other splendid buildings, in a powerful image and with a great graphical effect.
The mixture of different geometric shapes works very well for this direct and attractive composition.
My next photo will be of the Christmas lights in the Agbar Tower, a building that I love very much.

This is a beautiful photo. Well thought out compositionally, with the vertical frame and diagonals. I probably would have cloned or cropped out the partial signage on the left, but perhaps that is nit-picking :) I love the strong colours and beautiful graphism. A superb shot for sure!
