Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia may be Barcelona's most famous landmark, but Barcelona Cathedral (also known as La Seu) still holds it own as one of the most impressive cathedrals in Spain.
The Cathedral is a celebrated example of Catalan Gothic architecture dating from the 14th century.
A blending of medieval and Renaissance styles, Barcelona's cathedral features large bell towers covered in Gothic pinnacles, high Gothic arches, a handsomely sculptured choir and many side chapels with rich altarpieces.

Beautiful depth, contrast and details expressed in this photograph. The beauty of the craftmanship, the artwork on the facade and the clarity of the picture is excellent. The main arch is well positioned and the rest of the architecture proportionately falls in place. The numerous brown shades and colours are well captured and enhances the effect of the composition.
Thanks for sharing.
Do take a look at the WS - there is a surprise !

the Cathedral of Barcelona is also an architectural gem,but contrary to Gaudi´s vision very classic in architecture.I love Gothic churches-I enjoyed this one also very much when visiting Barcelona.
You captured perfectly its main facade with putting stress to show us architectural details.Abundance of different ornamentations is amazing.Excellently close-up and framed scene. But I like also the picture you posted in WS showing us the main entrance.Well done!
Have a nice weekend
