Photographer's Note

Tramvia Blau (Catalan for "blue tramway") is one of Barcelona's three tram systems. It is a heritage streetcar line serving a hilly area of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district between the terminus of FGC Barcelona Metro L7 and the Funicular del Tibidabo. Tramvia Blau is operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), albeit not part of Autoritat del Transport Metropolità (ATM) and therefore not fare-integrated with the other public transportation networks of the metropolitan area.
It was inaugurated in 1901 and suffered several changes in 1922 and 1958.

just you preempt to shot the passing by blue tram.So its beautiful to see the 'tail' of this conveyance with the leafs on the right to make the image even more effective.Excellent the quality of the image as the light management.

Good colourful photograph. The screaming blue of the tram is excellently captured. The general grey of the road, the brown and black of the old walls, the overhanging greenery and the tall creme coloured buildings - all place in sharp contrast the colour of the tram.
The composition is great - with the tram turning a curve to the right .. effectively giving a sense of motion to the picture.
The network of wires (for the trams) against the blue sky is also efective in conveying the mood of the photograph.

The bright blue tram makes a fine contrast with its surroundings. The shot is well composed and the tram nicely placed in the frame. Nicely presented with good colours and sharpness.

Thinking this was still Lisbon I was quite surprised by the colour of the tram. In any case it makes a fine view as it turns the bend behind the hedge. A nice city view.

Hi Daniel

I love tramcars as we have it in Calcutta for more than a century.Its a heritage we need to preserve.The picture shot from an acute angle gives a unique view of the approaching blue tramcar.Nicely shot.

I didn't even kew that Barcelona still had a tram. So another lesson learnt on Trek Earth.
Great capture with the tram just disappearing behind the bend in the street. The tram itself contrast great with the monochromatic street.

whats wrong with Juan....he hasn't showed us this view yet! :)
what a difference it makes with showing the bright blues in contrast to all the beige.
