a different shot this from your usual stunning architectural magic. But I like this too, it has such a wonderful laid back atmosphere about it and B&W captures this mood perfectly. Effective and artistic!

The Framing goes with the Photograph. The activity and action is palpable. The people in the cafe almost turned to Silhouettes - the Clarity and the twinkle of the glasses in the foreground - make the scene more dramatic. The palm trees and the lamp-posts (not Gaudi)is symbolic of the mood of the Placa. The clarity of people walking adds to the temper. the Thanks for the Photograph.

Nice B&W photo excellently captured in verical format. Great deep depth of field and light contrast, however it would be nice to brighten a bit the front part with the people. Perfect choice of crop. Well done.

The b/w treatment and the contrast suits this picture wonderfully. I like the way that we cannot see all the detail of the people sitting at the cafe as it conveys a mood of relaxation and enjoyment. A lovely place that you have presented in an artistic fashion.

Hello Juan,

Very nice compo of a street scene. I like your choice of a vertical frame. We can almost feel the relax atmosphere of having a drink at a terrace. Black and White was ideal for this picture.

Hi Juan,
I just couldn't resist to write something about this one.After spending there a nice afternoon the picture takes on a new meaning for me anyway,because we spent there a nice time and associates this place more individually with its enjoyable atmosphere.I think it could be a reason why you did not get as much points for it as the picture deserve.You achieved here exactly the effect I was trying to reach in my photos from this place.I'll try to post of the pictures when I get back home next week.
I just love the atmosphere of the scene-darken silhouettes of the people enjoying the time there and beautiful background of Placa Reial.
