Fountain in honoring to the blood donors, I liquidate without which not serious possible the life.
The blood circulates along the blood glasses to an average speed of 2 kilometres per hour.
If we were arranging all the red blood cells of the body some on others, we would raise a tower of 50.000 kilometres of height, and would form a line it sufficiently long as to give the return to the land 4 times.
Every second, the bony marrow generates from 2 to 3 million red blood cells. The same quantity dies in this time.
Along our body there circulate about 35.000 million leukocytes, the equivalent one to the distance between Madrid and Barcelona if we them were arranging one behind other one.
The pus is formed by white blood cells that have died during the combat with the infections.
The price of a barrel of crude oil is of approximately 60 Euros; the same quantity of natural blood might sell at almost 80.000 Euros.
Every year in the world there are gathered about 80 million liters of blood, the equivalent one to 40 Olympian swimming pools. |
