Photographer’s Note
I took this picture in an evening during my stay at Molenaseca village, which is located in the Spanish Province of Léon in N-W Spain.
The appearance of the village as a "Lost Village" prompted me to click this image. Extremly old houses in the village, which was semi-covered by a blanket of mist in addition to the bright color of lights in the street, all give together a strong mood to the picture. In addition, the sorroundings and the atmosphere of the village was so calm and it seem to me that the life on the Earth has stopped for a moment. These feelings were the main motive behind my idea to take this shot.
Indeed, I must confess that it is one of my favorite shot.
with best greetings from Léon,

What I really like here is the contrast between the warmth of the tungsten street lights and the cold blue in the rest of the image. The mist contributes to the atmosphere.
Not sure about your crop though - too long and thin and too much sky. Actually, I think it would work better to crop the sky away altogether.
Great use of the colour temperature contrast though Paras - it works very well.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Paras. I agree partially with Ben- I would cut half of the sky so as to accentuate your objective (to show this time of stillness.)The light adds much warmth to the night and this "river' of light goes deep into the image. lovely effect. regards. Klaudio.

You captured really well the mood of this "time that stopped". Another compelling facet of the picture is the transition to night: the village is already in the night while the hilltop above still has some natural light. The architecture of the houses (that looks Ottoman to me) is very interesting, as well as how you positioned the street on the photo that by watching it one just strolls on that street imagining how it goes further.
Very nice photo.

Ciao Paras!
Una foto ed un paesaggio di grande atmosfera e fascino! Forse avrei visto più case e meno cielo (che non sembra interessante) il paese invece, sembra molto bello. Bella la luce della sera che precede la notte.
Saluti, Nino.
