Refreshing view for hot days Photo

Photographer’s Note

We are are having really hot days down here, so I thought that this late Winter view of Sierra de Gredos, the highest mountain range of Castilla and Central Iberia. It was taken not far from my earlier post of the region.

Esplêndida vista desta montanha nevada. Gosto muito da textura da neve, da excelente luminosidade e nitidez. O enquadramento ficou muito bom.

I think beautiful is a more apt description rather than refreshing. I love the way the mountain ridges fold diagonally across the frame.
Lovely POV and your composition is perfect.
It's winter here at this time, although we don't get any snow, it is still bloody cold.

effectivement, c'est une photo qui raffraichit. Le blanc de la neige bien capturé et les contrastes avec la végétation donnent bien.
Belle contre plongée qui donne une idée de la hauteur dette montagne.

Não gosto de neve. Mas, por outro lado, acho que estas paisagens semi-cobertas sabem a pouco. No entanto tenho que reconhecer que a foto ficou com um bonito efeito gráfico.

Are there still some snow up there, so you can go and chill down, hehehe!
Besides you may well send a few degrees up here as we haven't seen much summer so far...

Un très beau paysage de montagne très bien présenté avec une composition bien équilibrée en plans sucessifs bien délimités. Les lignes données par le relief sont très graphiques et la neige apporte de jolies taches blanches à l'ensemble. très beau.

We don't need cooling down here; it's just right! ;D
You had excellent light for a winter's day and did a great job with the exposure on the snow. The limited colour palette works well and there is a series of parallel lines making viewing easy on the eye. The pristine patch of blue sky tops of a very good image.

and you did well, a winter scene before the long summer it's what it needs.

Dear Jose,

Refreshment is dearly needed in Alor Star, I tell you, it is very hot and the AC has troubles to keep up with the sun. Mail me some snow please. On a more serious note, the shades of snow and the contrast to the blue sky are excellent. Great DOF and well framed. Don't forget to mail the snow ... I still remember it how refreshing it can be.

Si hace falta refrescarse con este calorr,
muy buena imagen sobre todo el grafismo y el encuadre en vertical que adaptaste muy bien, debo decir que la definición es optima y has conseguido unos buenos colores! Buen trabajo!
