Lo que he tratado de captar en esta imagen es el paso del tiempo al incluir este señor mayor que lee las noticias de hoy bajo los mil años de románico del edificio.

San Isidoro de León es un templo cristiano ubicado en la ciudad de León en pleno Camino de Santiago. Es uno de los conjuntos arquitectónicos de estilo románico más destacados de España. Construido y engrandecido durante los siglos XI y XII.

What I tried to show making this picture, is the pass of time including this old man reading the news of today under a one thousand years old Romanic Building just in the Way of St. James, in the city of León.

The building is the Basilica of San Isidoro, stands on land which was once a Roman temple. Its Christian roots can be traced back to the early 10th century when a monastery for Saint John the Baptist was erected on the grounds.

Beautiful architecture picture with this detail of the Basilica of San Isidoro.
The inclusion of the older gentleman is also very good for the composition.

Hola Carlos , una estupenda composicion y presentacion , si las piedras de ese templo halaran eh? tendrian para escribir miles de periodicos como el que lee el señor mayor .Bien visto.

Es una bella toma. La inclinación de la columna causada por el efecto que da la camara, pareciera que se le fuera encima al señor.

Una composición bien lograda, con mucho equilibrio y adecuado manejo de la luz.

Carlos, he may be reading the news of today but he certainly is doing it in a place of the past. Just imagine all the news that has been read or heard in this exact spot over the past 1000 or more years. Great capture, fine detail and color and a wonderful shot to gt my brain kicked into high gear, great work amigo.

I have to confess, I'm quite obsessed about juxtapositions of contemporary emphemeral daily life scenes and ancient architecture... So this does get high mark, especially as the contrast between mondane detail of daily life and the enduring architecture works so well.
