[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The photo was taken in the neighbourhoud of Toro.
In Springtime the ground is saturated with water, but after a few months without rain and plenty of sunshine, you can see this.
A very useful attribute for photographers to fill the foreground in landscape images.

Hi Eddie,

Nice one here. It has interest from front to back and great balance. I really like the cracked mud in the foreground and the wonderful blue sky and clouds in the background. My favorite bit is the solitary green tree standing proudly in the center mid-ground.

Very well done.

Bob G.

Hallo Eddie,
Groeten, Paul

very good pov close to the ground, with the help of the wide angle.
The best way to show he dryiness of the soil

Hi Eddie, a very strong image, I could not imagine that Spain has such landscapes. Very good capture, I like the low pov and all the space you gave to earth.

Hello Eddie,

Magnificent texture, great contrasts with sky too. Different colored of fields at horizon and green trees are creates a well paradox. Colors and sharpness, overall quality are perfect as usual. Congratulations.

Best Regards,

Hello Eddie,
I feel like getting a glass of water right now. I feel parched already! Your composition and low camera angle worked very well and I especially like the way that the dried up mud dominates the scene which emphasizes the destructive nature of droughts. This is a superb and masterfully crafted image with a powerful reminder that nature is in charge, not Man. Very impressive photography!
Stan

Hello Eddie: Very interesting and opportune the photography that you show us. The perfect use of the depth of field offers an idea about the drama that supposes the drought in many places of Spain.
I have allowed myself to send a WS with a black and white version because I believe that makes the scene most dramatic. I hope like you.
Saludos,
Pepe

Beautiful photo. It has a devastador aspect. The rain came this week, at least Portugal. Seen well Eddie.

Hi Eddie,

Unfortunately, drought is a common issue nowadays in Spain, and your picture describes this situation perfectly. The close dry and cracked ground view adds depth to the image.

Regards,
Fernando.

Hola Eddie,
Excelente punto de vista y gran expresividad de esos campos cuarteados por la sequia. Bonitas tonalidades.

Hello Eddie,

I love thi PoV. You have captured the whole scene with such Magnificence. The tree smack bang in the middle of the frame provides such a stark contrast against the dry earth.

Great composition.

Kamran

Hello Eddie,
Fantastic low POV and contrast to emphasise the cracked, dried-out mud! Very nice colours in the background which work very nicely with the foreground to show nature's perseverance in hard times! Great shot!
