This is a really beautiful shot! The lighting is just magical, with the dark clouds in the background giving this a very dramatic appearance. The intense colours of the green field and the flowers makes a nice contrast with the threatening sky. Superb work!

Very beautuful landscape, thanks to a great light. The dark clouds with filtering light are the best conditions, for these shots. Much better that a bright clean sky.

Hello,
I really agree with you - such precious moments have to be captured; and you have done the work very well. Especially the slightly blurred field of wheat(?) giving impression of movement and the dramatic conditions just before the storm in this light looks so splendid.

Bonjour Eddie,
l'aspect dramatique de cette photo mériet que l'on s'y attarde, ces ciels menaçants sont pour moi bien plus beaux que ceux d'un bleu profond et égal.
J'adore aussi les lumières dans ces céréales qui dansent dans le vent.
Et les fleurs au premier paln amènent des couleurs.

I know exactly what you mean in your note. I'm glad you were not on the motorway; I have sometimes wanted to stop my car in the middle of the 120kph traffic and take a shot like this one.
It looks great. The marvellous light on the wind-blown grass under that stormy sky. You might have been in a hurry, but you still had time to make a careful composition with all the elements in perfect harmony with the wide curve of the wheat or whatever it is. Wonderful colour combination. It's really superb.

yeah, I know this "STOP THE CAR!!" feeling. but then again, the emergency lane on the highways is there for a reason, right? :)

fantastic colours here, Eddie, I like a lot the contrast between the stormy sky and shimerring golden light on the field. you can see such light only for minutes just before the storm, so well done :) I also like how you have composed the photo with the curve of the field leading the eye towards the old farmhouse. very well seen and presented, my compliments.

Great picture - the view, colours, the sky and the wind in the field... My first thought was, that the hous is framed too central but since I've got no better idea to compete with yours, I'd better shut up and enjoy the view ;-)
