Photographer’s Note

One hour earlier, I was in Valencia with a lovely +26°C and thinking I was so stupid to have brought trousers in wool, I had not imagined it could be so hot at this time of the year in Spain.
But after 50 min plane, I landed in Valladolid and a freezing +3°C with thick fog: what a temperature shock! And the trousers in wool were more than welcome!
This is the main square of the city, facing the town hall. Very nice architecture. Despite the temperature, some people were out in the streets, as it was time to go to the restaurant/tapas bar.

Hello Estelle,

Wool trousers. Hahaha, I do have a bit of difficulty painting a picture of wool trousers. I've got a wool sweater, but I really can't imagine anything when thinking about a wool trouser.
But despite my lack of imagination, I do like the foggy atmosphere you've captured here! Maybe a slight unsharp masking to make the people in the foreground stand out a bit more. But it's okay.

Bonjour Estelle
une petite escapade espagnole pour ramener une image tres sympa. une bonne exploitation de cette lumiere pas evidente (d'autant moins avec un A95 !)
on peut regretter que tu es coupé les pieds de tes amis. le cadrage est bien equilibré et ces 3 personnes seules dans cette brume de nuit devant ce bel ensemble architectural donnent une bonne profondeur à ta compo.

Hi Estelle,
I like the composition with the positioning of the people in your shot, set against the tall 'slanted-perspective' of the illuminated buildings. There is a damp cold feeling to your shot, brought about by the mist, yet the lights and red colours of the buildings help to warm it up -- especially since it's now time for the evening's entertainment! And one other thing, that single window with the light on, it adds a special touch :) Just who is up there?!

Belle ambiance: Cela apparait froid et humide...
J'aimes bien la presence de ces 3 personnes.
Le batiment rouge avec ses lumières habille bien la photo.
