This shot was taken during a ceremony in the centre of Valladolid, which is in central Spain, about 100 miles North West of Madrid.

Valladolid is a beautiful small city a bit off the beaten tourist track, but well worth a look. It's filled with beautiful Spanish bars and restaurant, a charming cobbled old town feel, and the warmest Spanish hospitality you could ever find.

The brass bands played in the central square in Valladolid early on a Saturday evening, immediately following the days siesta - gotta love the Spanish way of life!
