This photo was supposed to be only my "so long" to all of you, because in a few hours I´ll be leaving to África. My first experience at the subsaharian part of the continent.

But just opening Internet I´ve read at the webpage of "El Pais" that the master Ingmar Bergman has passed away today. I´ve felt sad. Not only dissapears one of the greatest filmmaker ever, somehow a way of thinking is going as well. At present times, when the attitude from the mass-media toward the culture has to be as "Cool", "terrific" and "gorgeous" as lack of deepness, the departure of mister Bergman could mean more space for the Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, David Beckham or Lindsay Lohan way of thinking.
From here I would like to send an idea to the UNESCO: To start a list of "World human heritage" concerning people and not only monuments and landscapes, and to put the autor of such a great films as The seventh seal, Wild Strawberries or Fanny and Alexander the firt on the list, because his work belongs to all of us. Bye, bye Mister Bergman.

That´s all folks, from my behalf I just want to say so long to all of you, I´m leaving to Tanzania, to cross some other frontiers and to play what it is my most precious sport in life, TO TRAVEL, and while moving to discover my relatives: The humans of the world.

Take care.

Hi Miguel,
Love this POV.This give me a sense of endlessness somehow as I follow the slope from down to top.The colour is good-bit too saturated for my likings. The contrast level is excellent and the blue sky peeping through adds to the beauty.
Greetings from India,
Dhurjati

Hola Miguel,

Just heard the sad news myself, and a fine tribute here. In fact I was surpised that he was still alive, since he hasn't done anything for so long, those guys usually seem to carry on until their last film has to be completed posthumustly.

Looking forward to seeing your results from Africa.

Hola Miguel, an axcellent image this is and what sad news indeed about Bergman and right after him Antonioli. Maybe yoú'll read this from a internetcafe or something, have a great and enriching time in Africa and take care!

Hola,

Buen trabajo
Un saludo.
