Photographer’s Note
Along with the Alcázar and the cathedral, this aqueduct is one of the major landmarks of Segovia.
The time of its construction is unknown, but historians believe that it was built in the late 1st century AD or the early 2nd century.
It was used until recently and it is one of the most outstanding and best kept Roman constructions of Iberian Peninsula.
