Photographer’s Note

My apologies to all female members of TE for not having found any photo suitable to commemorate, even if late, the international day of Women. I guess I could look for some flowers if I had more photos in this computer I am using now, but I'd risk disrespecting the TOS anyway. :-)

I am also late for contributing for the "Sunday Papagolfade" theme, but even so, here it goes this church again. I have another post of it done some weeks ago, but with anotehr POV.

I didn't find much information about the church, other than it was built in the 12th century (some mentioned 11th century) in Romanesque and Mudéjar styles.

A marvellous colour contrast, between the warm stone, of the fg building, & the blue sky. Excellent sharpness & upward pov. Tfs!

The dynamics of the clouds make for an impressive background. Your point of view is very good as it allow us to see a contrast of colours. The blue seem properly saturated while the warm tones of the church give the image a more appealing atmosphere. Beautiful architecture Jose; Thanks :-)

Mi más sincera enhorabuena por esta fotografía, el encuadre es magnífico, me gusta mucho el lienzo cuadrado para aprovechar al máximo ese cielo que resalta el edificio gracias al contraste entre el azul y los tonos cálidos de la piedra.

Superb "Papagolfad" with this very nice church which arise very well under a very beautiful blue sky with nice clouds. The POV is very well selected and a very good managment of light which give very nice colours.

you've managed to contrast some very nice things here in this shot. i like the colours, building and the sky. they match very well. i also like the contrast between the hard, straight lines of the building and the soft curves of the clouds. it looks really good. it looks kind of like a hdr shot. great job!

Hi Jose,

Wonderful low POV, interesting architecture, beautiful light and natural colours. The square format is very interesting - I probably wouldn't have thought of using this format but the more I look at it, the more I like it.

Jose, this is awesome, the color and the detail are just magical, I love it. The detail in the shadow is really clear which puts this one over the top I think. Great capture.

Hola José.
Los contrastes tanto de colores como de sombras y luz están muy bien combinados, muy linda iglesia la cual se realza majestuosa con el magnifico azul del cielo detrás. La textura de sus paredes así como el foco y tu POV están estupendos.
Ya regrese a Santo Domingo, un fuerte abrazo para ti y tu familia.

Bonsoir, cher José,
Très belle église romane qui défie les siècles avec bonheur. La beauté architecturale est patente, et ce ciel griffé de bien jolis cirrus laisse apparaître le 21ème siècle avec le sillage d'un avion à réacteurs.
Comment ne pas s'émerveiller devant tant de beauté laissée par nos aïeux.
Une bien jolie composition.

lindo pov, luz e enquadramento, as linhas, formas e demais detalhes desta bela arquitetura estão bem mostrados aqui. gostei bem deste pov baixo. creio que esta igreja tenha sido a última que fotografei quando visitei a cidade

Your skillful experiences are easily recognizable in many facades with their excellent clarity and sharpness. Here you use the light in perfect angle while creating wonderful play of shadows on rich facade. I liked also the sky with its unique cloudy texture.

great the perspective and the POV of the church of San Martin,that looks like to take off.I like the sharpness and the clarity of the scene as that with this POV the upper part of the church is outline against the blue sky.Well done.

Genial foto, la catedral otro elemento precioso de Segovia,
colores y perspectiva impresionante, aunque creo que si hubieras puesto menos alta hubiera quedado las dimensiones de la foto mejor, para mi parecer un poco desproporcionada, pero buen trabajo!

The fine veil of clouds makes a great backdrop for the architecture!
The church is captured with good details, and the colour palette consists of well matching colours...
Interesting point of view adds dynamic lines to the composition!

Je note ici un bon équilibre ombres/lumières avec une luminosité rasante sur le mur ensoleillé.

He visitado tu galeria y visto el atractivo contenido de la misma, elijo esta bonita iglesia romanica con una ejecucion muy lograda en este angulo en que nos muestras abside,atrio y torre. Muy buena luz y color.

Hello Jose,an interesting building with all the different lines and angles.Your PoV was just right for catching the light to show off all the details.
