[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was before a religious ceremony in Burgos, the past Easter.
And first, this scene is not posed. Neither the WS and neither the link.

I was very lucky when I make the photo.
All was good.

I mean that I was following the man dressed up of white. He was waiting for began a religious procession and he was waiting hi his home.

Following him, I make this shot. I shot against the light, but the light crossed the glass of the door and created a wonderful efect. Look also the flowers at one side of the door. But, behind the door we can see the man dressed up of white and in front of him: a woman.

She looks very little infront the “angel” because she was sat down in one side of a sofa, where we rest the arms.

Then, their sizes, the light and scene by itself are form great.
Is all a casuality.
But I like it.

It looks the Annunciation.

It looks the appereance of an angel.

Time ago also I posted I very similar shot (here).
For me there is no doubt, is one of my favourites. Why? Because is an irrepeatable moment. And moment irrepeatable and alsmot religious.

Also let me add that I want dedicate this photo to Sergio

I recognised this place as soon as I saw the thumbnail.

I also prefer the first one. There is something quite sinister about the scene...

Important photo. Excellent timing. Interesting story. Thanks for sharing. Regards.

Nice one, Carlos. Life is mysterious and sometimes the miraculous scenes we catch with our lense are absolutely real, and yet...unreal.
bw,
Francis

Hola tu.

Hi Carlos, a cool shot. The light behind the glass might be interesting for the cogregation of the vatican. Maybe they find out that it was a miracle. I even like the ws with the flying white dress.
Good job,
Nino.

What I like most about the photograph is her expression. spot on! ain't she happy to see an angel :)
And since you've captured her in that mood, at that moment, your photograph speaks volume to me. Of course the divine light, the mysterious blur...only add to it.
TFS,
Best,
Durba

Hello Carlos
Very mysterious shot:)
The title fits the composition perfectly!

Interesting symbolism and a good photo for your dedication to Sergio who needs your support at the moment. I actually prefer the previous one you posted so we can see the face of the "angel", but the light here and slight motion blur serve your purpose well. Good work.

Hi Carlos,
The luminescence here is almost overpowering, and indeed there is a mystical effect. You caught this one at the decisive moment, with the "angel" in full flight. Good clarity of detail and a perfect exposure level. Well done...later.
John

i love the overall lighting and the colours here carlos, but i don't think it's as successfull as your previous (brilliant) post.. perhaps if his angellike qualities were more apparent (i loved the trumpet)... still a very mysterious atmosphere here..

Hola Carlos

Sergio

Hola Coco! Wonderful contemporary Annunciation, wonderful story that goes with it, the timing was surely on your side, but also your eyes were, with those magical golden lights on the frosty glass of the door, the translucent gown of the "angel" and the little woman, not like in the Renaissance depictions of Mary but more like in the earlier ones, very flesh-and-blood, to me cute.
Very nice and magical shot!
Thanks,
sasa
