This is the end, my friend, the end
(Coco will come back...)

Well, maybe some of you know where I have been this August. But maybe you don’t know I will be too in September.

Yes, I am in Cocoland.

I must tell you a lot of things.

The first one, I would like to dedicate this picture to all the people involved with the tragic accident in Madrid two weeks ago. More than 150 people died in that terrible accident and I felt that very close to me due to my work as flight attendant.

The second one, thanks to my neighbourhood (no Oscar, another one who works with computers and understands them... he’s really a sensitive man –Oscar no-). Yesterday he helped me when I was in my current work with one computer.

And the third one... I will spend a few weeks in Cocoland because I am working in Santo Domingo de Silos.
I work in the library and that’s a nice work. I work with all kind of books (even books from the 16th century).
But I know someday I will return to Barcelona (my third home). Now I am in my home but I would like to come back to my second home (I want to cross again the Mediterranean sea this very year).

I know I will come back to Barcelona and I supouse I will work again as a flight attendant... but really what I want to do is work abroad (in my second home).

And, finally, in Cocoland I cannot post pictures... then I cannot be very active on TE for a while.

Maybe I will post some pictures from Burgos my off days (like today).

The last thing: five pictures stitched. All of them taken with my new 12-24mm lens and with the tripod.
And, yes, you are right, Cocoland is great!!!

Carlos, me ha impresionado tu nota... bueno, muchas cosas...
Sólo espero que vuelvas a hacer aquello que tanto te gusta y tantas satisfacciones te ha dado. ( y lo hemos visto reflejado através de tus fotos).
Una pena que no puedas obsequiarnos más a menudo con tus visiones personales, pero bueno...el tiempo lo soluciona casi todo...

Y en lo que se refiere a la imagen...no se cómo expresar la grandiosidad que refleja, pura naturaleza y puro paisaje captados con un fidelidad muy ... no sé como ... bueno, genial!!! Impresionante!!

Hola Carlos,

Es impresionante la foto, sobre todo ese cielo con esasnubes en remolinos, me gusto mucho las tonalidades de la foto, es una vista que te deja sin palabras, en cuanto a tu nota lástima que no puedas publicar habitualmente esas impresionantes fotos que sacas, suerte en Santo Domingo de Silos.

Excellent shot! The curving lines of the clouds in the sky are matched by the crving rocks at the bottom. Great tone also, whether it's from the lighting or your processing, but we can get a very textured feel to this, especially the sky. Well done!

cuanto tiempo sin saber de ti. La foto pues fantástica, como siempre, no? Realmente parece un cuadro, ya pueden estar contentos en Quintanilla de la publicidad que les haces... Santo Domingo de Silos... pude visitarlo hace un tiempo, y tengo muy buen recuerdo... das mucha envidia!

Espero que estés bien, y cuando puedas nos sigues contando.

Hola Carlos, por fin! estas vivo? Aqui en tu "segunda casa" estamos muy preocupados! pero veo que en tu nota lo explicas todo! Pues, que siguas pasandolo bien en tu primera casa!

Esta es una foto, muy, pero muuyyy impresionante! Estas muy cerca, de convencer que Cocolandia es el segundo mas bello lugar del mundo (claro, Creta viene primera!!!). Fantastica toma, con gran atmosfera, perfecto encuadre y composicion, colores magicos, lo tiene todo! Felicidades!

Cuando sabia del acidente pense en ti preguntandome si ibas a seguir con ese trabajo. No se si Vueling tiene dinero pero si no tiene yo tendrai mierdo.
Que cosa mas extraña que aun estas en Cocolandia ;-) Vale tu amigo de informatica no corrigio el dominente del cielo que es tuyo pero el imagen esta bonito con nubes tan dinamicas sobre un paisaje precioso con ese luz. Solo hay un nube demasiado blanco.

Hello Carlos,

I am sorry to be one of the last who found this picture on TE, I knew that you were not around, but hoped to find you any day, thought you were on vacation or something.
Of course we all felt terribly after the fatal plane accident in Madrid, I extend my condolences to all relatives and Spanish people.
By the way, this is a very very strong picture a prize winner for sure, in all sorts of competitions.
Keep well and hope to hear from youy soon. I'll be in Lisbon on the 22d for my exhibition at the Jeronimos Monastery. I wish you could come .

Parece que no hay lugar perfecto. Aunque los cielos de Quintanilla del Coco son impresionantes, parece que sufres de dificultades con Internet. ¡Lástima!
La foto es de las que le dejan a uno alelado, acogotado. El cielo, en el que casi parece que se esté formando un tornado, casi asusta. Los colores rosaceos y amarillentos ayudan a dar este tono amenazador.
Espero que te vaya bien, estés donde estés. Si vas a tu segunda casa (¿Grecia?) espero que puedas seguir mandando tus fotos desde ahí. Mientras tanto, para que veas como nos gustan tus fotos, aquí tienes un pequeño homenaje que espero puedas disculpar.

Well long time my friend, thank you for passing by my Images,
For me this is the real Spain, less populated less touristed and with shadows from the past both moorish castles and of Franco. this is where the best wine in spain are made the best jamon Serrano. this is the part of Spain I'm longing for not because of it's beauty but for it's mood and characteristic melancholia
