Photographer’s Note

And yes, the title for my next photo will be 551th... or not.

I wanted to post a photo about Cocoland and the 550th photo is a good moment for do it.

It was last summer and that day I used for first time my 70-300mm.
It is simple, only a tree in the foreground and a field in the background. No more.

What do you think?
Maybe I'm too fond of my village?
Perhaps, but also is true than a simple work with a simple composition can be good. And I think the light and the graphism of the photo are the key of this picture.

I hope you like my 550th photo in TE as I like Cocoland.

550... that's an impressive number, Carlos, congratulations! and you have chosen an excellent photo to mark this occasion, I like a lot how almost invisible stems of grass in the foreground mirror the lines on the field in the background. the tree and the way you've included in the scene creates a very pleasing frame. beautiful colours and light, very well seen and presented.

Tracks on yellow field is make your frame more richest. I like light plays on tree branches and leafs.

cocoland for 550th photo is a good choice...particularly that you present us with a warm, sunny, pleasant view of summer nature...and currently weather here is sort of depressing so your photo will definitely cheer the day up...

tens raó, la llum i el grafisme dels elements són un percentatge molt alt en la composició, que d'altra banda és senzilla però ben buscada.
Els tons daurats del camp a l'estiu també aporten un bon toc plàstic.

Felicidades por las 550, con esta imagen transmites parte de que sientes por tu pueblo, un lugar tranquilo donde aislarse del ruido y las prisas de las grandes ciudades, un gran trabajo con la luz, cálida y que llena solo con mirarla, la composición sencilla pero con la picardía del que sabe lo que busca, en definitiva, un excelente trabajo.

Overexposed or not, it seems as a wonderful to visit especially in the summer! You're lucky to have it as your shelter! I like the colors in both the original and the WS photo. Your POVs are also great! Thank you for sharing and you have to make them at least 1000!!!! Regards Stella

Olá Carlos, congratulations on your 550th post. It's been more dificult for you to post since the 500th, but you still managed to continue sharing your thoughts and I apreciate that. Both photos are very beautiful and I don't know which one I like more. I know what do you mean with compression on images with many leaves, but as you say, the light is marvellous and the framing is very good. I don't notice any problem with the sharpness, anyway.

Hola Carlos,

Original hasta para las celebraciones! Está bien, ¿por qué no celebrar el 550, en lugar del 500? En cualquier caso, la foto es muy buena para celebrar algo, incluso para no celebrar nada: es muy buena. El tono dorado del campo es un tesoro, y el fuerte contraluz un añadido de relieve y profundidad que resulta muy interesante.

Hola Carlos! Enhorabuena por tus 5 centenas y media! Haces muy bien en estar enamorado de tu tierra y de presumir de ella; además es todavía más loable si tenemos en cuenta la de sitios a los que viajas... Muy buena la foto, y nada de simple: las texturas, los colores, la calidez, la profundidad y la luz tan especial la hacen muy buena.

Hola Carlos,

you have so many fine shots in your impressive gallery that it was difficult to choose but I settled on this one because I love trees and the colours are rich & warm. The branches act as a natural frame and the grass in the foreground is well worked into the main picture. It's a beautiful summer shot and well seen.
