La composición me gusta, el cielo dando un toque dramático también, incluso el uso del flash para definir detalles en el primer plano (no se que modo has usado, yo en este caso hubira sincronizado a la cortinilla trasera) el encuadre vertical también va bien, pero lo que no me gusta es el B/N, pues considero que con este proceso queda un poco falta de detalle, no se, es mi opinión, personalmente la veo más en color, quizá es por lo que comentas de que no estamos acostumbrados a ver paisajes en B/N aunque el famoso Ansel Adams era un maestro en este tipo de fotos (según dicen) pero yo las prefiero en color. Por lo demás ya te digo, me gusta la foto.

Yes, good reasons and I like it as well! It's always difficult to use a fill flash on the foreground. I did it once with the Petronas Towers in KL, with something in front. Takes a number of shots before finding the right light intensity that it all still looks natural - and a diffuser and colour filter helps as well...
And you did manage to keep it all very naturally! The only feeling that I have is that the horizon is slightly tilted to the left... Might just be the slope of the landscape as well. But a nice one!

Me gusta mucho la composición y me gusta también la explicación que das en la nota. Tiene un toque dramático intenso y me gusta cuánto espacio ocupa la tierra. El cielo amenazante añade drama, y todo eso está muy bien y me gusta. Lo que no veo tan claro aquí es el blanco y negro, porque le da un toque de monotonía grande y, tal vez, porque se pierde quizá lo más intenso aquí que sería el color de la tierra. Pero, bueno, es una opción posible, porque en blanco y negro acentúas aspectos diferentes. En cualquier caso me gusta. Gracias.

Olá Carlos, no doubt that this is dramatic and the b&w made it even stronger. The vertical composition is interesting and giving an impressive depth. Also interesting the use of the flash, which worked well. I like very much the inclusion of this darker vegetation in FG, to contain all this imense field. Beautiful silloueted horizon, with the tree(s).
We can almost sense the smells of this field...

AS you say Carlos a bit different landscape shot as compared to the more usual and colourful variants. This looks more like something from a bad dream in the darkish setting and use of foreground stonefilled details. Interesting as a variant and contrast and of course the dark background is a must for this one.

Interesting experiment with fill-flash so you can show all the texture in the land. As you say it is a very dramatic sky, as many of your "coco" photos have. I always used to associate strong blue skies with Spain. The vertical format has allowead you to show more depth in the landscape.

sí, es una foto molt dramàtica i amb molta força, està ben treballada la profunditat de camp, i has utilitzat el flash amb bon criteri per il·luminar el terra davant teu.
Però, atenent la potència visual dels cels de Castella, em pregunto com devia ser amb els colors originals.

Hola Carlos, me gusta la originalidad de dar formato vertical a un paisaje, has conseguido bastante profundidad, pero dudo de que el BN sea la opción más correcta, de cualquier manera es tu gusto y tu fotografía.
Es mi opinion y siempre respetando la tuya.

Esta foto parece un fotograma virado a blanco y negro de "El espíritu de la colmena" de Víctor Erice. Tiene mucha carga poética, aunque también se le podría decir aquello de la España profunda y negra... Saludos y ánimo en tu tensa espera.
