Today is a special day in Cocolandia.
Today is San Miguel (St. Michael) and he's the patron saint of the village.
There has been a great celebration and yesterday there was a big party at the night.

People from villages around Cocolandia come to celebrate this day.

But I have been far away. I've been in Barcelona nd with this photo I want share with this day: San Miguel, the patron saint of Cocolandia.

Last Easter I was in Cocolandia and this photo belongs to those days.
I was in home and suddenly a soft but beautiful snow began to fall.
The clouds grow darker and they were sifted by a cold wind.

Next to this window I stand up by the fire. Through the window we watch the snow, falling slowly.
Then I catch the camara and I did this shot where not only I wanted the snow. Even much more important: that reflections over the glass.

I hope you like it.

Also two little presents because today is a special day in Cocolandia:

Bonsoir Carlos
Beau travail

Hola Carlos,

Very interesting this superposition of images. She looks more like an etherial being on this old town... The low ligh and B&W works fine to the mood here.

Cheers,

Flavia

¡Vaya, ahora que te has ido empiezas a poner fotos bonitas!
Venga, a mamarla a Parla.

This overlaying of two realities makes for an intriguing image, it's hard to know where the reflection begins or ends.
It's a dark and moody image, a natural for black and white conversion, which I think has made it all the more atmospheric.
Good work Carlos.

Cheers,
Ben

Ciao Carlos,
Great "drammatic" view: you captured an unreal atmosphere with your good B&W.I like a lot rhe reflection over the glass: Good job!
Have a nice week
See you soon...
Paolo

Hola tu.

Hi,

this looked a bit dead at the thumbnail, but opening it was such a pleasant surprise... everything is magically integrated here, the inside and the outside... very moody picture, looks timeless. Great shot.

Hola Carlos!

Me gusta.

Un saludín desde San Martín.

Hola Carlos:

Hola Carlos, nice poetic post, with deep feelings in the note and interesting 'dark' atmosphere resulted from these winter reflections on the window. Love the two ws: The first one is my favorite, but the second was a very enjoyable surprise :)
tfs,
ricardo

Very unusual image Carlos. It's difficult to separate the two dimensions of what is outside and what is reflected. The B&W serves to emphasise the drama of the scene.

Wonderful work, Carlos. I love the reflection, the moody feel, the lovely details that define Cocolandia--beautiful people, houses, simplicity and some sort of innocence, I suppose. It's all in here. Like a breath of fresh air.
I also adore the WS1 and of course the WS2, with the Master ;-)
Welcome back, Carlos!!!

Hola Carlos:
